Is there any reason the Super Smash Bros for the Wii U/3DS was included here? I've included what was written below, and it doesn't seem to include any example whatsoever. The closest it comes is including Samus, but she only ever is even hit when wearing the power armor, making it a sideways example at best.

"* In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, Samus seems to be the only female that can be hit by every other fighter in promotional material, presumably because of her Power Suit. Females are free to attack whomever, but male characters are limited to eachother... or Samus. For instance, Little Mac's reveal trailer has him punching Samus into the sky for making fun of his height, but the moment he tries to attack Wii Fit Trainer, she simply dodges him and lets him fall off the stage."

Is there a reason why there's so much space before the examples?

I don't quite get why this needs to be listed as a trope. The description claims it's unusual, but there are plenty of examples noted. Maybe the description could be folded into the Slapstick article, if it is felt that this trope actually exists?

This happened because Tim had made a mistake. Hide / Show Replies

Because it is very uncommon. You're much more likely to come across slapstick against male characters. Compare how many are on here, then compare how many of the "Traditional male slapstick" you see.

Be uncommon not means be a trope. Tropes are conventions and devices, independent of the rarity. The question here is: said women are Butt Monkeys because they are women?

Just wondering, but on the "Married...with Children" entry, what episodes were they from?

Regarding Tiny Toons Adventures, it was definitely not comfortable with this trope. E.g., Pluck could get anvil'd every episode, sometimes a dozen times, but for the female characters it was very rare. The one notable counterexample, "The Anvil Chorus" (I believe) was only run a few times before it was pulled from regular play due to slapstick against the female characters. So, the existing text needs to be fixed.

I put the old picture back, because there wasn't much wrong with it honestly. It's an obviously female character who's getting hurt. I don't really see why it needed replacing.

(If there was an Image Pickin' discussion for this trope that I missed, feel free to re-replace it.)

I agree; it's hard to find a girl becoming the subject of slapstick, because for some reason, some people believe that girls shouldn't get hurt, icky, etc. The key is to put her in the position of Buttmonkey, and probably make it clear to the audience that she's getting exactly what she deserves. That's one way to do it, at least.
