I'm not sure if this is even a trope, really. I guess it fits as "a phenomenon that has occurred more than once in fiction", but it still bothers me, somehow...
I suppose I'm a bit on-edge about it because it has a nest of Unfortunate Implications in its usage, if only because of situations I've dealt with, personally.

Yes, it's a dodgy trope, just like Rape and Switch, Bury Your Gays, and Magical Negro. However, we're a cataloguer of fiction, and that means that we catalogue the creepy stuff, too. Because fiction can get way creepy.
At least the description doesn't seem too positive, from my quick skim of it. We've had problems with that in the past.
What's precedent ever done for us?
"Will that you're a fag-hag for"? Struggling to make sense of that sentence. It doesn't seem to make sense. Does it mean something like "(you) will always default to being a fag-hag", ie "it's in your nature to be a straight woman who likes being around gay men". Just looks badly written but I don't feel qualified to make a correction.
