I think this page is kind of disorganized. There are image links in the main page/category page examples but there's an Image Links page for that. I think we could put every entry with an image link/image links on the Image Links page and keep everything else (no image link) in the main page/category pages, what do people think?
^Added it. It was missed during the split.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhy is every instance of words like "plot", "film", "anime", "manga", etc. on this page a Pot Hole?
Extra 1: Poochy Ain't StupidBesides Planet Earth, shouldn't every other BBC and Discovery nature documentary be listed here? Also, pretty much anything released by Disneynature is an example.
Just wondering.... there was a Real Life section here under Western Animation, but it looks like it's been deleted. Anyone know why?
Bookworm. An Old-Fashioned Girl. Ice Age lover. Etc, etc etc..I don't really see the reason why this is categorized under "YMMV". It's not really that subjective, since it's about the deliberate effort to make elaborate backgrounds.
Better to avoid examples which require people to follow links. As this trope is beautiful background art, lovely CGI pieces where the art is the foreground are not good examples of the trope.
- Everything in this video is 100% CG. Let's repeat that for emphasis. EVERYTHING IN THAT VIDEO IS 100% CG.
Hm, you know, that is what the description says, but this is the first time I've ever heard that Scenery Porn specifically excludes foreground scenery. I always thought it was just "whenever the set designer makes the scenery unbelievably beautiful".
See you in the discussion pages.I once read an Axis Powers Hetalia fanfic where they used a scenery move AS porn.
About the scenery porn in the How To Train Your Dragon movies, should the white Bewilderbeast’s cave from the second movie and the hidden dragon world from the third movie count?
