This really needs a new title. One suggestion is "Labouring The Symbolism". I like the play on words, but I'm not convinced this is the best title. Any other opinions? Any other suggestions?
This trope has a less-screamfilled sibling in the form of actual activation/creation of things/beings that deliberately invokes birth. Things like the assembly and activation of The Major's artificial bodies in Ghost In The Shell, or robots being assembled and then activated and released into the world in a manner like being given birth to.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!
