So this is a VERY Christian-centric article. Most religions in the world don't have a concept of Hell. Judaism, for example, doesn't even have consensus on what form of afterlife there might even be, but even the parts of Judaism that have a belief in "Gehenna" don't view it as an eternal punishment. So... should some mention of the fact that the character's belief system might not even /include/ a concept of Hell be included in the reasons why they don't find the threat of it compelling?
