Am I right in thinking this is related to the New World Order trope, where the villain promises prosperity but goes on to rule with an iron fist? You know, New World Order, New Era Speech.

Am I right in thinking that there is something like this in Richard III? Reason I ask is that The Resistible Rise Of Arturo Ui takes cues from Julius Caesar and Richard III in its style/Ui's speech, and there was a film of the latter (which like many of these examples) was a parable for Nazism.
