I tried to fix the article up a little bit, and that included organizing examples. For the most part I didn't have trouble, but there were a couple issues:
- In Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets, Dobby blocks Harry's access to Platform 9 3/4, causing him and Ron to miss the Hogwarts Express and take alternative transport. Hilarity Ensues.
^ I don't know if that one's the book, the movie, or both, so I slapped it under Literature.
- In The Adjustment Bureau, Matt Damon was supposed to miss the bus. The problem lies in that he didn't.
^ The final sentence in the original was "Badness ensues". I've only seen one summary of the film and don't know much about it, but "Badness ensues" sounded weird and jerked the tense around suddenly. I'm just scared my minor rewrite somehow contradicts the movie in a Critical Research Failure Obvious way and I'll be burned at the stake.
Actually a girl.
Anyone who takes the OC (Ottawa City) Transpo buses is guaranteed to experience this trope in real life. Probably the worst public transport service in the country.
