Concerning the removal of examples: No, examples are golden for explanation. The best we can say is that the person has been here which means... what? That they know exactly what we are talking about, that they can extract perfectly what would apply on all other pages, that they would never find referring to another wiki as useful for thinking about a decision here. No wait... we're answering the wrong question. Examples exemplify, that is what they do. What the question should be is "Is there any harm done by the examples?" No.
