I don't have the time and energy to go to the Trope Repair Shop, but I will note here that this and For Great Justice seem to be absolutely confused about what they're about. For Great Justice doesn't know whether it's character motivation or something stated in the narration, and this trope doesn't know whether it's the principle that good guys win or characters stating they have the For Great Justice motivation.
