Sorry but I propose the deletion of the following exchange:
- Also doubles as a hilarious lampshade hanging of bizarre American law. Paying a woman for sex is Prostitution, which is DIRTY AND ILLEGAL; paying a woman for sex on camera is pornography, which is totally okay.
- Lucky for you that the Bible doesn't say anything about porn, or you poor sods wouldn't even have that. In Europe we just tax our prostitutes and everybody is much happier.
- Yes, because disease-ridden prostitutes exploited by abusive pimps make life oh so better...
- Hardly. Pimping is usually illegal, even in countries where prostitution isn't regulated, while health checks tend to be available, if not mandatory.
- Yes, good sir, we get your point: "America/Not Europe sux ololol"
Organizational question: Most of the examples are examples of in-story discussion of things being Art and therefore not Porn. Do we file works which have themselves been vindicated of obscenity because they are Art (Henry Miller, James Joyce, etc) under their category, or under Real Life? Or should we have two examples lists?
