A: That still exist?
B: We don't have to use personal anecdotes. I'm sure there is an article happening on a cultural scale or something to that effect.
C: There is absolutely nothing "flame worthy" about this trope. The fact that we can't list some real life examples is nothing other than ridiculous.

For the Dragonball Z example, for the Gohan example, Gohan was 16, but Trunks was 8. When the time-skip appears, Trunks is now 18, and Gohan's an adult scholar in his late 20s with a library of books. Pan I think is 5.
