One troper made a cut on the main page, saying there was Too Much Information. I can see how one may think that the page is a bit Wall of Text-y. How many here think that cuts are necessary, and what should they be? I'm taking suggestions. My own feeling would be to cut the middle section, perhaps drop one or two of the external links (though I feel the bit about the names themselves is important), and generally tighten the paragraph up. Still, I think any revision should be done as a group thing, not by random individuals.
