A few of the more recently added examples, in particular the Doctor Who example, have raised a point that definitely needs to be discussed: if it's not flight, but instead some other movement-related superpower such as teleportation, is it still this trope?

On the one hand, the trope definition specifically references flight; on the other, I still feel as if the non-flight examples follow the spirit of the trope. But I don't feel as if I can decide this alone.

Particularly common in Ocean Punk settings, since the lack of land magnifies the advantages of flight.

...Looking back on this line, I have no idea why it's in the description. Very few of the examples on the page demonstrate it.
