Lots of games that have full player models with legs intentionally leave them out in first person. It's not laziness, it's because legs often look really awkward and distracting and when you look down and spin in a circle they ten do glide along the ground in terrible silly ways. Animating them realistically for all the actions a player can perform in a first person shooter is all but impossible so it's left out entirely.

They can also get in your way when you're trying too look down at something.

In any case I think this should be reworded to be less insulting to developers who make the decision to leave out something that adds next to nothing to the game and would require ridiculous amounts of work to get working in a non-distracting and unrealistic way.

The Darkness should be added as a FPS game where you can see your entire body :)
