I doubt the Main/ redirect to a work article created before 2012 should be cut because of a lack of wicks, especially given the wicks were removed within the short time of 24 hours.
Well, nowadays we are in the business of not having such redirects, because people use them as excuses to not namespace their links.
Currently, examples of Complete Monster in this work is listed under YMMV. After reading the definition of the In-Universe exemption, can anyone help to check the examples listed as Complete Monster there are actually Complete Monster (despite what Conan said) or just Asshole Victim? Thanks!
As the administration has been adamant on cutting YMMV tropes on the main work page, all examples on the main work pages for tropes marked YMMV has been moved to its own place.
This is a notice that this work has its Ho Yay page now, even it's a single-entry page.
They should drop the "Ran doesn't know" thing. It just becomes more stupid as time passes by. Of course, they don't do it because it would mean they can't air the series at Monday 7 PM, but it doesn't do any favour to the characters.
Please be noticed that this work now has its own Heartwarming Moment and Tear Jerker pages.
May anyone in who is watching this consider whether Heiji should be listed under Ambiguously Autistic and/or Ditzy Genius— you see, the two tropes are somehow overlapped, and I see Ambiguously Autistic as a controversial and YMMV trope—I, for one, do not consider Heiji autistic or in anyway going out of That Idiot From Osaka trope.
Bellerophone: Heiji has already been listed under Ambiguously Autistic; I see no reason why he should also be listed under Ditzy Genius. (I don't particularly see Heiji as autistic— but as a part of fandom thinks that, mainly triggered by Ellen Brand's fic, I have no problem keeping it.)
Hello. I am going through the wiki and modifying instances of You Should Know This Already, since it is a redirect to a trope which doesn't have much to do with the way most people use this. In the process, I removed this from under Long-Distance Relationship, since it doesn't make sense without it (and only looks like it makes sense with it). Can someone rewrite this to make sense to someone who is reading the page to find out more about the series?
Wasn't there a trope called something like So Yeah or similar?
I have changed all referencs of Baigar in this article, outside of the reference to Improbable Antidote's previous name Baigar Is The Antidote, to Baiganr— that's how that alcohol is actually pronounced in Chinese. (When Heiji first introduced the alcohol, he already said that is an Chinese alcohol.)
On the old Adult Swim message boards there was a discussion about the name "Case Closed" - some posters said it was because FOX bought the rights to "Detective Conan", thus making it unavailable for FUNimation when they picked it up. Apparently FOX had wanted to air it on their kids' channel, but quickly found out it wasn't a kids show.
Is there any truth to this?
It's not FOX's fault this time — at least, the title isn't. It seems that the estate of Edgar Rice Burroughs has trademarked the name "Conan" In America! They probably were afraid that people would be confused or disappointed if they tuned in and it didn't include our favorite barbarian.
Wait, is FOX responsible for the live-action Conan films (the ones with Arnold Schwarzenegger?) If so, maybe it is their fault...
As the recent entry says, there are about a zillion Crowning Moments of Awesome in Detective Conan.
However, I notice that there isn't a separate page for the Detective Conan series in the Crowning Moment: Anime section, though there are a number of pages for considerably shorter series.
Maybe we should fix this?
Detective Conan is so long that one can only selectively memorize some of them.
My turn: Tear Jerkers. I copy and pasted 3 examples, but I also know there're more.
