what is the difference between this and Dying Moment of Awesome?

The death doesn't have to be awesome or good. It's just that deaths of important characters are more likely to be played for drama and given more focus time. They can overlap because this trope is often used to create a DMOA.

Does this have too many straight examples? After all, it specifically says that this is enough of an Omnipresent Trope that the examples should be mostly subversions/aversions. Instead, about half the examples are just a list of how the death of Character X in some Trope Overdosed show was dramatic.
