No kidding, eww. Just roll it into Sweetheart Sipping and Spaghetti Kiss, it's not prevalent enough to have its own page and the pun is an absolute clanger.

Does this page exist for the sole purpose of the awful pun? People eating crepes in anime strikes me as a People Sit On Chairs situation.

The hell is an "indicator trope?" Not seeing that word anywhere on the TV Tropes Glossary.
Had this trope, with this name, been proposed this year, it likely would have been blocked by the mods. Which should be reason enough to at least change the name. I agree with the original poster that this really doesn't need to exist in any form, as it's just a much less iconic version of Sweetheart Sipping.

Destroy, destroy, destroy! Or at least rename. A pun on date rape in the title of a non-rape related trope about dating is completely unacceptable. It makes light of and normalizes date rape.

It is awful. I find the explanation specifically aggravating because it just seems so unapologetic.
I agree. The name is downright horrible. Funny, at first, then downright disturbing.
The abovelinked thread has approved a custom title to reduce the consonance with "rape".

btw, the pun doesn't work anyway; it's pronounced CREHPE, not CRAYPE.
(and also there are so few examples of this in anything, what is even the point?)
