Yes, it is a good idea. She's a dumbass for not using her smash moves against Bowser or even resisting him when it turns out she's a competitor in Smash. Secondly, whatever she does does not change the fact that she keeps being kidnapped a majority of her appearances. She deserves to be the damsel scrappy bitch, thank you very much.
I don't know about you guys, but the whole existence of this trope kind of reeks of sexism. I know a lot of the blame can be placed on the Damsels' own stupidity, but it wouldn't exist at all if it The Distressed Damsel trope (in itself ridiculously sexist) weren't so prevalent. Besides, aren't heroes supposed to care equally about saving EVERY innocent, no matter what their gender? (I apologize if I'm completely missing the problem here. Please don't get offended anyone.)
Wait, it's Rinoa's fault she got possessed by the villain they didn't know about? Or for the ground to collapse where she was standing? I think that entry could do with some revision.
Hide / Show RepliesIt's Rinoa's fault that she's in a game certain people don't like and therefore they don't like her.
A wee bit defensive, don't you think?
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows.
Yeah, considering they thought that adding Princess Peach to this list was a good idea? Strikes me as a little of Did Not Do The Research, there.
