Can it be done, and done right, for the main character of a story to be a Broken Ace? (particularly if they have lived for 300 years)
Edited by JonathonWilderSurely, I'm not the only one who finds it silly that "Broken Ace" can have Real Life examples but "The Ace" can't.
Dimension Lord and a lover of cats.- Arguably, Michael Corleone in The Godfather Part II, especially near the end. He is the most powerful Mafia Don in the country, has secured the Corleone Family's power and prosperity and eliminated all his enemies but he has alienated those who love him and relinquished his own happiness in the process.
Should a line be added to the end of the description "Not to be confused with Broken Base", due to the extremely close spelling?
Title pic suggestions: Either Amuro Rey or Kamille Bidan. Both of them are total aces for their respective sides, but end the series either too shell-shocked to want to return to space or comatose. They're both pretty broken.
Actually, wait. Char trumps them BOTH for Broken Ace status. If Char's Couterattack isn't enough of a hit for that, well...

Um, shouldn't the "flavors" be edited? Like, quite a few characters don't fit in type 2, but aren't villains either.
