I came here sort of expecting to see a certain recent *ahem* Brian K. Vaughn penned comic, since it's a terrific example AND a special case but realized that even listing the title is a massive, massive spoiler for the last issue considering the bodyguard is introduced in issue #1. Any thoughts? Is there a precedence for listing the title of a work in spoiler tags?
Hey, does the wiki have a trope for a platonic, Philia or Storge version of this, rather than Eros?
Hm I don't know how to edit the wiki, so I'll put it here.
REAL LIFE CASE: The daughter of Samsung CEO married her bodyguard.
Our country (South Korea) is often called 'The Samsung Empire' because that company provides for most of the citizens, and the Samsung CEO commands ten times the respect of the president + controls most of the media. And that CEO only has daughters.
So that bodyguard has, like, married a princess, and half the kingdom. Lucky him, hahaha
