Would Asgore from Undertale count? He looks like a goat, has an affinity for fire, collects human souls, and wields a big red trident.
Hide / Show RepliesDevaronians from Star Wars clearly fit this trope, but the problem with adding an example is that I don't know where I would add them. While a devaronian does show up in A New Hope, their comparison to demons does not show up until the extended universe, which covers multiple categories, such as literature, Western Animation, and video games. Would anyone like to help figure it out?
"..."If they are appealing to this archetype I would think so.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI accidentally made this trope. I put it in Ykttw and kind of accidentally launched it having never used it before. It this trope worthy? You see it so often. If not feel free to delete it.
Why is Crowley from Good Omens here? He spends the entire story looking indistinguishable from a human, except for the occasional Glamour Failure (like his snake pupils).
