How are people getting away with deleting so many WM Gs now?

I removed the following even though I'm not sure what it refers to.

  • Adaptation Distillation: From de Villeneuve's version to Leprince de Beaumont's, to Disney's.
    • Prior to the Disney version comes the novel Beauty by Robin McKinley. The heroine is bookish, brown haired, and has a large horse as a plot point. The invisible servants have personalities. It was written in 1978, long before the Disney movie.

It doesn't say, but it looks like this means the same thing as the bit I changed in the main text that said this was a case of Adaptation Distillation instead of Adaptation Decay and clearly meant it had been changed for the better. That's not what Adaptation Distillation means. It's about compressing (see the relevant article itself.) If the above actually meant that the story had been compressed, feel free to put this bit back in (preferably with an explanation given here).

Type the word in the image. This goes away if you get known.

The next one might be easier to see.
