So it occurred to me that Jack Nicholson's famous moment with a bathroom door in The Shining might count, BUT. He uses an axe to do it. Does it still count?

Does it count if the barrier is an actual door that you thought you just sealed? I mean, breaking down the actual door, not just putting your arm through it. Because a zombie dog did this on Penumbra in the Let's Play by Helloween4545, which is the thing I thought of when coming to this trope. The game said to barricade the door, and Helloween did, with a barrel, but then as he's reading something in the room the door just crashes open and he realizes he should've barricaded it better somehow. It was very spooky to get a dog capable of doing that, really.

Hmm... as is, the description doesn't include your example. Personally, I'd go for another trope than a lump, but it may be better to take it up in the TRS.

Brick Break - pokemon

busts Reflect and Light Screen, which halves physical and special attack damage, respectively.
