Pardon, but how are a handful of Pokémon considered Artificial Human? I read the article numerous times and I don't feel it mentions anything about non-humans fitting the artificial human trope.

"The important thing is that Artificial Humans look like humans, they move like them, etc."

Thank you for your time.

Do homunculi count? The words "Artificial human" and "Homunculus" are sometimes used interchangeably.

Nagato Yuki: The Techno Babble says basicly that she is an artificial program built into the fabric of the universe by the Data Intergrated Thought Entity, which basicly is the same thing, but without an 'avitar' body, so it's the Milky Way's invisible, untouchable Sysadmin.

What counts as "artificial"? Adam and Eve were made by God from dust and a rib, respectively. Are they artificial? In the Enuma Elish the first humans were made from the blood of a slain deity/Eldritch Abomination. Are they artificial?

I believe "artificial" is mean in the sense of "man-made" — i.e. created by mortals instead of true deities. IINM it also requires that it does not involve creating a new species from scratch, but rather creating new members of an already existing species.

Frankenstein's monster is described as a "unique species" even though he's just a bunch of parts that have been sewn together.

"Frankenstein's monster is a unique species" Isn't he literally a bunch of body parts sewn together? Anyway, I've dubbed what he is "Homo simulacrum".
