I'm not sure what the trope would be, but the story is the classic Light Vs Dark turned on it's head. The "Good" characters aren't, being led by Knight Templars at best. The "Evil" characters mostly aren't, showing a preference for self-expression more than anything else.

The conflict falls more in line with Order Versus Chaos than Good Versus Evil.
