I am interested in adding some of the short story characters (I'm more ambivalent about the novel ones) as ensemble darkhorses on the YMMV page and need a few additional opinions. This is proving difficult due to how while there are good reviews singling out some of the stories they rarely dwell much on specific characters. Is there anyone from "Up on the Roof" or "Maligator County" (my two favorite short stories) anyone would suggest? I especially like the main character and a guy named Gary Gaines from Maligator County, and Handicapped Badass Tom from "Up on the Roof," (I may add him right away based on some Amazon reviews corresponding with my opinion) Pastor Garber from "The Road to Good Intentions" and Eric Magnus Lamont from "Inhale to the King, Baby" and the NASA story from "We Shall Rise" also have some potential. Please reply if you agree or have any other candidates.

Should add Writers cant to math. Reason: In book 3 Faith says that she has 8000 hours of combat in last 9 months, if you use 30 days to a month 9 months is 6480 hours. Add in the combat rule of no more than 12 hours a day (mentioned in book 2 and 3) and - Writers cant to math.

Yeah, that's a legitimate arithmetic issue, and one that Ringo has acknowledged the problem elsewhere (heard 3rd-hand, but I think it's been posted somewhere on his FB page in the past... and good luck searching through that :P ).
