Follow TV Tropes
Okay, so a few days ago I added the Shout-Out entry on the main page. But then I read the Trivia page and it turned out that the Shout-Out entry is also there. Shout-Out isn't a Trivia (I've checked the page), but i'm still in doubt. Should we keep the entry in Main or Trivia?
Infiking (I might get that troper's name wrong, but whatever) moved Wham Episode to YMMV page, with the edit reason being "subjective reaction by the viewer".
But here's my problem, Wham Episode isn't listed as a YMMV trope. The entries looks fairly neutral to me and most pages list Wham Episode on the main page rather than on the YMMV page.
It's because the reaction to a Wham Episode is a meta thing. The actual response is done by the fanbase and us not noted by the characters. Put it this way, a work isn't considered shit by its characters, but rather by its viewers.
Wham Episode is not YMMV and is not an Audience Reaction. As such it goes on the main page.
It may not be noted by the characters, but it does have a concrete definition. I can't comment on the validity of the deleted tropes, but it doesn't belong on YMMV, that's for sure.
I see, sorry for the trouble. However, if it is going to be moved, the wording for the entry should be reworded to remove first person reaction.
Why is information already shown in the novels being removed? Even if there is an anime airing, the main work is still the web novel, not the other way around, and the spoiler tags should suffice to hide events not shown yet.
I've found multiple points in the character page removed, or had the information watered down.
Is there no english-speaking pirates brave enough? Why no one is translating this awesome ranobe from japaneese??!
