Ron and the Deathly Hallows. If Ron is from an all magical family, for generations, and he knows the story of the Three Brothers, WHY doesn't he know the story of the Deathly Hallows?

Maybe he just wasn't a fan of the story. If he ever heard it at all, it probably wasn't frequently enough for it to sink in. There are probably dozens of fairy tales that I haven't heard of and know nothing about, as a real-world example.
