Perhaps a small thing, but in the Hollywood Tactics entry, it claims that the apes had no scouts during their journey to the desert. It's true no scouts were shown, at least, during the actual journey, but before the film even began, Blue Eyes and another ape had already been out searching for a suitable new home, and would already have verified there was no danger there.

Five Ape Band: So, I tried adding this, only to have it deleted for "numerous problems." Anyone able to give me some advice to fix it?
- Five Ape Band:
- Caesar, The Leader, setting out on a Roaring Rampage of Revenge
- Maurice, The Lancer, trying to keep Caesar from going too far.
- Rocket, The Loyalist, sticking with Caesar through thick and thin.
- Luca, The Big Guy, a silverback gorilla who dies protecting Caesar.
- Bad Ape, The Chick, a Plucky Comic Relief chimp.
- Nova, The Tagalong Kid, who Maurice effectively adopts.
I don't think the theory about the Northern Army having completely succumbed to the Simian Flu pans out. Regardless of how disorganized or sloppy their assault on the Colonel's base was, it was still a coordinated effort encompassing thousands of troops, which would require verbal communication to direct. Even if the individual infantry soldiers on the ground could communicate via hand signals, vehicle crews like those in tanks and Apaches flying overhead would basically be completely blind to what's happening around them and the commanders back at their base would have no means of running the operation because they can't communicate over the radio. Without any verbal communication capability, the whole thing would fall apart as soon as it began.
Edit: Okay, watched the movie again and I can expressly hear shouts of "Whooo!" and "Yeah!" among other clearly discernible if inaudible (if that makes sense) words and sentences spoken among the Northern Army's soldiers as they're celebrating victory. So, the suggestion that they've all succumbed to the virus is unequivocally false.
