I didn't want to make sweeping changes based on me either missing something or interpreting the film differently, but I guess I'm confused about Dr. Horn's motives and methods. I was under the impression she was trying to use a combination of science and faith to destroy the demonic side of the children, and that the third and fatal treatment wasn't an intentional procedure to kill them. It felt like a medically-assisted exorcism more than anything else, albeit one that was fatal to the patient if not successful.

Maybe that's just splitting hairs, but the page as is makes it sound like she is intent on killing the children from the get-go. Stuff like "the medical facility is actually an extermination center for children like him" and "torturing Eli...[and]...murdering every other child they treated after the initial experiments were deemed a failure".

Dr. Horn just has to be really careful not to tip her hand to what the treatment really is, lest Eli's powers manifest before they have exhausted all attempts to purge him of his demonic heritage. And based on his actions at the end of the film, it's pretty clear that Dr. Horn and her staff were damn well doing the right thing by trying to stop these devil-children before they snap.

Unlikely anyone might see this, but I still had to throw in my 2 cents without just wiping out half the main page.
