Rule Of Cautious Editing Judgment. Keep that off the page.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. Why not? I mean it's not slandering or anything, it's just the truth, look it up. I think it would be wrong to send the wrong image of Chris to the public.
Certified: 48.0% West Asian, 6.5% South Asian, 15.8% North/West European, 15.7% English, 7.4% Balkan, 6.6% ScandinavianSaying he displayed "very disturbing sociopathic tendencies" is a moralistic values judgement that could be considered slanderous. I don't care about slander, but judgments of Chris Kyle as a person do not belong on the trope page. End of.
Yeah "sociopathic tendencies" makes zero sense unless he was diagnosed. Just put in the facts that he said some odd stuff in his book...
I can accept the Historical Hero Upgrade entry as it is right now, since it only acknowledges that the film's portrayal of Kyle is more classically "heroic" than in his own account. As long as it stays that way, it's fine.
Good, then that's fine. I mean Kyle is a soldier who fought honorably in Iraq and didn't commit any war crimes, so that means the film's depiction of his activities is fair mostly because it's from his point of view and that of his fellow soldiers. That he was a little mean to Jesse Ventura is a story for another movie.
I don't think the Historical Hero Upgrade entry on the main page is justified, alleged "sociopathic tendencies" or not.
