Am I the only one who just didn't like Fairly English Story?

Someone already objected about it, so I don't think so.

I personally haven't read it. I don't see the appeal of Minato as an English boy.

Story takes a while to kick off. The objections raised were when the story was still in it's teething stages, the latest chapters have just spiraled into something crazy awesome, while still sticking close to canon. If you haven't read to far, give it a chance to pick up.

Also, Minato being English really doesn't affect that much, to be honest. It's used more as an explaination of how he has become such a good fighter. Apparently he grew up in a rough patch.

Prequel there, written when the Author knew what he was doing, and it pretty much explains the backstory. Pretty sad though, just to warn you.

No, I didn't like it either, the author saying he is better than Belphin doesn't help.

Despite the recommendations of many friends about how the story takes a while to get going, I could never found it good. While I'd enjoy zapping it again for being a self-insert, that sadly isn't grounds to do so.

So, where did Fairly English Story's recommendation go? Did it get zapped for being recommended by the Author>

That's one of the reasons - likely the main one, as in, how's the author's a proper recommendation? - second that it was too controversial, getting filled with Natter for its mixed reception.

It was deleted under the apparent silent agreement that if someone - preferently not the author - actually liked it enough like to make a recomendation out of it, could add it back.

Well, I put it back, but left out the natter comments. I had seconded the rec before, and didn't really appreciate seeing my opinion discounted because of the natter.
