Can we change the name of this page, if only because I know for a fact that several stories from this genre use commanders that aren't from Planetary Annihilation, but other settings like Total Annihilation.
Part of this is me being salty over not getting to launch this trope under Commander Self Insert Fic (or something like that), but the other is that most compilation threads listing these types of fics on sites like Spacebattles or Sufficient Velocity also include stories with commanders from Total Annihilation/Supreme Commander
