• And Now For Something Completely Different: The previous Spin-Offs only had fan-submitted OCs; this time, Laris Nevermind the Ultimate Knight, an OC from the author himself is part of the cast (and one who's directly related to a canon character). Jossed. The author revealed in the community discord that Alice, Mallory, and Akeno are all also his own characters. They were just submitted under false names.
  • With Annabelle Lupin being 9 years old, the story also has the first character that is less than 10 years old participating in a Killing Game.
  • The body discovery announcement is made after the first person finds the body, with who found it being named in the case file.
  • At the end of a trial, the culprit (or the rest of the class) will be put through a Death Game with an actual chance of survival. Those who survive will be allowed to continue the game.
  • The token antagonistic character? The first victim of the game.
  • The character that most looked like the main protagonist? The Mole. And then they're Killed Off for Real.
  • Also, the trial room (a carousel) spins around during the trial.
