Do Squee and Ornithopter really count?
Squee is part of a combo build (And is therefore not the actual thing that kills you), while Ornithopter, while cheap, is no worse than pretty much any other flying creature.
And Rootwater Thief (Although I expanded the example) seems more "Goddamn Bats" than "Demonic Spiders".
