So going though the Hardcover, it seems like Earth-8's Behemoth was renamed Big Baby. Does that fall under Sudden name change, or something else?
Maybe this is just me, but I can't help feeling the interpretation of the dog scene in Pax Americana under Take That! is maybe a bit of a stretch.
I know Morrison has some weird rivalry going on with Moore - I read The Last War in Albion - but it still strikes me as a bit overly interpretive. Especially since I suspect Morrison is a bit more self-aware than to criticise Moore for creating a path he then followed, not least in that he's doing to Watchmen exactly what Moore did to the Charlton characters in this very book. (Although, now I think about it, I can maybe see Morrison doing that and then claiming it as a metafictional aspect of the criticism itself.)
But personally, I think the scene's about an omnipotent superbeing who killed his dog.
(Aaand this is where someone points me to an interview where Morrison says the jab at Moore was exactly what he meant...)
Hide / Show RepliesI've just got round to reading the most recent Last War and learnt that Morrison drew a rather vicious parallel between Moore as "the God of Watchmen" and Dr Manhattan, while objecting to all the differences between Moore's characters and the Charlton originals, so I will admit there is more evidence for this interpretation than I previously thought.

What is the point of the ending of the introduction announce that there is now a character page? Is that announcement just going to be left there forever?
