These pages are starting to overlap the Anime and Manga sections devoted to cards in them. Do we want to ditch those sections and merge them into here, and dedicate coverage of them to the Anime and Manga pages and remove them from these ones? ie - Dark Magician, Blue-Eyes, etc.

Also, it got no attention on another page, but do we want one page for all prominent anime and manga cards, or perhaps one page for each series like the original series has now?

Given the sizes of the other pages, I have reservations on any merge between them.

I have to ask: why the sudden decision to delete characters and archetypes deemed not notable enough? Sort of came out of nowhere, and seems a bit unilateral.

Many of the ones I removed are archetypes of only a handful of cards, like the Malicevorous or Lightrays, or like Behemoth and Dark Blade are cards with no story behind them and no importance to the anime, manga or TCG/OCG. That's mostly how I decided on what should go — little importance to anime or manga, small archetype, no significant card backstory. Ggagagigo and Freed may be small archetypes too, but they have an extensive and detailed backstory, so they're more notable than something like Dark Blade.

The reason is the pages are already huge, and in time will only get bigger as more archetypes are created and old ones expanded. There's no need to give every single monster that appears on card art a section.

I am really sure that minor characters have his place in character pages.

But there's a difference between a minor character and a character that doesn't exist. Behemoth King of All Animals isn't a minor character, as a character he doesn't exist. He has no backstory, no significant role in the anime or manga, he is not a particularly powerful or noteworthy card in real life, and he appears in a handful of card art. St. Joan and the Roboyarus are more notable than Behemoth, and they are not notable.

A card like Kozaky or Gagagigo on the other hand have detailed card stories, appear in a lot of art, and have numerous cards related to them as a small archetype. The Divine Dragons and Elemental Lords have no backstory, but their cards are notable and there's several of them.

I'll also list here the cards I'm looking at for removal from the remaining pages (not right now, but if you wanna discuss them for the future I'm open).

  • Parshath - am actually thinking this can be merged into the Agents via Sanctuary in the Sky, or a new category created for Counter Fairies that includes him.
  • Petit Dragon - will be removed as he's part of FHD's profile now.
  • Psychic Monsters - they're not an archetype, they're a type. We wouldn't have profiles for Dragons or Fiends, would we? True Psychic cards are often more an archetype than a type, but they've been diversifying.
  • Shinato - used by Noah, but only in a few episodes. Is just a stand-alone card with no support or card art appearances.

I'll note for others why I kept them when you may think I wouldn't.

  • Penguin - used by Crump so it has some anime relevance, and has cards specifically supporting Penguins.
  • Princess - Appear on a few cards, have some implied story. Unsure but leaning to keep.
  • Sasuke Samurai - A Mystical Ninja homage counts for something in notability, though as with the Princesses I'm more leaning to keep than saying decisively.
  • Skull Servant - A story, much support, appears on a lot of card art, is a Running Gag in some games. Can stay.
  • Sophia - Story relevance, stays.
  • Spellcaster XY Zs - I'm a bit unsure about this one, but again, three cards, no story behind them except for one's a slacker and the other is hard-working.
  • Tour Guide - definite real-life TCG relevance.
  • Tragoedia - He's definitely notable, but I'm unsure if he should be here or the GX character page.
  • Umbrallis - four cards, not notable in the TCG, but notable in the anime, so I'll keep.
  • Warrior Grepher - a lot of cards in the series, and a storyline. Warrior Lady stays for relevance to his too, though maybe we can merge their sections.
  • Warrior of Zeta - as Grepher, several cards and a story to connect them.
  • White Nights - leaning yes due to anime relevance, on the other hand a small series and much of it is anime-exclusive so I don't know.
  • Yubel - see Tragoedia.

A lot of the cards have stories despite not being part of the anime though (see Inpachi).

......you don't pay attention do you? -_-

Think we should create a subcategory for Spellcaster Synchros, including Tempest, Arcanite, and Explosive Magician?

Done. I think that section needs some revisions.

Type the word in the image. This goes away if you get known.
