Should the old Vinesauce Tomodachi Life Islanders page just be cutlisted? Its only non-discussion wick is from an index that also contains the pages it was split into, the main Vinesauce Tomodachi Life character page links directly to the pages it was split into instead of it, and it received significantly less inbound links (550) than the main character page (22,404), the latter of which used to list islanders before the former was made, though I'm not sure why it's that much lower (maybe it took less time to split the islander page than it did to separate the islanders from other characters).

Can foreign Miis have a special food as something they strongly like or dislike? I fed BootlegVin everything except for the four trash foods (even temporarily changing my Mii's birthday to get another birthday cake) and his all-time favorite is still blank. I have most special foods (I think 35 out of 48) and I'm willing to save scum to see how he reacts to them, because some of the special foods (like baguettes and gnocchi) are European in origin and might be normal foods in the European version.

According to the wiki, special foods vary between region, and some are normal foods in the European version. However, since the special foods' main function is to provide a little comment when feeding one to a Mii, it might override the all-time favorite reaction. I'd still say it's worth a shot, because the only other option is to get a European copy, and considering the 3DS' region-lock...

I hadn't considered it before since Gordon and Skeleton (whose QR Codes are European) have full lists for Does Not Like Spam and Trademark Favorite Food, but between Southbird showing that Little Mac's fondness for olives carries over to the European version and BootlegVin apparently not having an all-time favorite on the North American version, I'm starting to wonder if food taste stays exactly the same across regions, with foreign copies leaving a blank spot for anything that doesn't exist outside the Mii's home region, as opposed to replacing it with something that does exist in the foreign copy.

Edit: Special foods only produce the results listed on the Tomodachi Life Wikia. It would seem that I stumbled upon something not well covered by other sites, that being that food tastes stay the same across regions and spaces occupied by region-specific foods are left blank in other regions. Everything I got to produce a strong reaction from BootlegVin also exists in the European version.

I'm thinking we should expand Nario's entry. He's the only character with no trope examples.

I think it should just be axed. The character in question was from a bad fangame that Vinny just joked about being connected (he said something like "Nario for Tomodachi Life") and it was never brought up again or immortalized in fan art. The person who added him in the first place had that as their first and only edit, so I don't think they thought it out very well. I don't think we'd be missing anything without it.

That works. I haven't seen the second Shit Show episode yet, so I'm not really familiar with Nario, but if he's only here because of a brief joke, I don't think he's very relevant.

Vinesauce's QR code does not work for me, and, if I'm not mistaken, Southbird had the same problem. I think it's due to his catchphrase (different copies of the game seem to have different word filters; mine blocks "smeg", but not "dirty magazines"), but either way, we might need to add a "work-safe" replica while leaving the official one for copies that have no problems with it. I might add that I also have the North American version of the game.

Never mind. A forumgoer made a revised version that has different clothes and a slightly different catchphrase, while keeping everything else (such as food preferences) intact.
