"Basically, the Lady of War is an Action Girl who retains an air of grace and reserve not usually associated with violence. If she's not a Pretty Princess Powerhouse, she tends to be otherwise highly placed or at least look and act like it."
I'm a bit surprised that this wasn't cited in regard to Lady Penelope—I mean, she's practically the very personification of that trope! She might not have princess status in the royal family but only noble status (regarded as a useless decoration in Anderson's vision of the future), but Lady Penelope persuaded the British authorities to give her high place among their intelligence operatives because her social class was the perfect cover for her deadly skills and activities.
I've pulled this from Tin-Tin's entry.
The Other Wiki claims that it's Malay for "sweet", and while I couldn't confirm that, I did discover that there's a Malaysian scientist named Tin Tin Su. So I guess it is a name some Malaysians have?
