This is the result of a bug that came from the recent update. I’ll see what I can do about getting it reversed.
Should be unlocked now, at least for me it is. I've noticed that going to the page history and clicking the edit button there unlocks the page.
This page is now giving a too long warning. We need to split it up somehow. I was thinking we could have core members (Sarge, Tucker, Carolina, etc.) on one page, and minor/former members (Church, Sister, Dos.0, etc.) on the other. Or we could split them into Red and Blue again, but then neutral characters like Doc don't neatly fit anywhere.
Hide / Show RepliesSplit the Red Team and Blue Team up again, but keep this page for the neutral members and to link to the new pages.
That seems unnecessary. Why would we need to split it into three pages when we can easily split it into two?
It would seem some characters have large enough sections to warrant their own pages.
No, we don't need that many pages. Splitting it into major and minor characters doesn't work because who actually counts as one is subjective, not to mention that characters have a habit of leaving and coming back regularly. Splitting it by teams is easiest because it is a well defined separation.
I don't know if I like that idea. It seems kinda...messy. Having a dedicated page for Church could work, and we could move Alpha and Epsilon there too, but having a dedicated page for every core member of the main cast is taking things one step too far in my opinion.
Maybe I should change my definition. Instead of "core" and "minor", we make it "current" and "former". Anyone who's part of the team in the most recent iteration goes on current. Anyone who isn't goes in former. And we move characters to whatever category they currently fit in. For example, since Sister has been long-absent and they left Freckles behind in Season 15, they go in former. If they're reintegrated into the team in Season 16, we move them to current.
Edited by streakson22No. We shouldn't have to changes where charactets go that often. If they are split by team, there won't be as much change.
Edited by SatoshiBakuraAlright. I'm good with splitting it by team. Although that makes me wonder where the "in general" tropes are going to go.
Wait, I have another idea. What if we made one page for Blood Gulch Crew members who are actually from Blood Gulch (Seasons 1-5), and one for people who joined them later on (Season 6 onward)? It's easy to define, and we'd never have to move anyone after the initial split. Yes, that means we'd only be moving four characters, but two of those characters are Washington and Carolina, who have huge sections that are taking up a lot of space. We can call the pages "Blood Gulch Crew Original" and "Blood Gulch Crew Extended".
Edited by streakson22I'm sorry for being impatient, but I made the change so you can see what I mean and if you like it. I really think this is ideal, but if you disagree, we can change it.
Not a fan. Just split Reds and Blues and leave the neutral on the main page.
Also, you are not allowed to do that. If you are impatient, wait a day. Don't wait only 2 hours. And don't do anything without consensus. You didn't even bother with a sandbox page.
Edited by SatoshiBakuraI'm sorry, I'll change it back for now. We're not going to get anywhere if it's just the two of us disagreeing. We need a list of pros and cons for each option, and we need a second opinion.
Edited by streakson22I've changed my mind. Go ahead and do it your way. I won't be able to make any large-scale edits myself because I'll be at work.
Alright, I'll just take care of it now. We may as well be in agreement at this point anyway.
Sorry, I just got really busy this week, and was too exhausted to reply. But I'm cool.
Should we consider Carolina a Blue at this point? The show itself seems to. She wears blue armor, she's formed a much closer bond with the official Blue Team members than anyone on the Red Team, and whenever the two teams have to split up, Carolina goes with the Blues.
Should we change the page title to The Reds and Blues? I feel like we should be calling them by their official name instead of the Fan Nickname.
Hide / Show RepliesNo, it's just going to make things more confusing. Also, the fan nickname is more commonly used in fan circles anyway.
Can someone change the pictures for Donut, Lopez, and Doc? Pretty sure the RvB wiki has updated pictures now. Also, maybe you could add a picture for Dos.0?
Edited by streakson22I remember watching the video on the modeling for Carolina, and they were pretty specific that her face was modeled after a woman in the RT community that wasn't Lindsay Hicks. (Not that they specified it wasn't Lindsay, just that it was someone else.)
Who locked this page and why?
