Not sure if this will get checked, but I was thinking of adding the profiles of each character (age, birthday, blood type, likes, etc) under their picture. I've seen this on some other character pages. Any objections?
Hide / Show RepliesAs always, the same rules for examples apply to character work pages: Keep it relevant and simple for new readers. Does their birthday or blood type matter? Not really, right? Their age may matter, but since it's pointed out that they are middle schoolers, and it's listed often enough how old exceptions like Negi or Evangeline are, this isn't really relevant, either, and doesn't add much.
TV Tropes edit function doesn't seem to work, so I'll just add this here:
If it contains spoilers, it should also not be listed, so long as it's not a Late-Arrival Spoiler or something. Races for instance. Eva being a vampire or Setsuna being half-Tengu would be okay, but Mana being half-Mazoku, Zazie being Mazoku or Negi being an immortal, which happened very late into the manga, would just spoil too much.
It would just be simple like their character profiles early on the series. Birthday, measurements, likes/dislikes, maybe the odd mention of what clubs they're in. Nothing extensive, just a quick intro.
I am of the opinion that profile info like birthday, height, weight, measurements or likes/dislikes, which you see on other wikis, are not necessary info and only distract, unless they play a more significant role in the story. When writing examples, I aim to keep it as relevant as possible and avoid unnecessary info.
This page probably needs a few more splits given how overloaded it is. There's at least 2 or 3 characters (like Asuna) who might need their own pages.
