If there is one thing TNA's fandom and hatedom have in common, it's that they hate Dixie Carter. Both sides blame her for TNA's current state, and wish she were gone. In fact, many have claimed that the only reason they haven't given TNA another chance is because of Dixie — the general feeling is that as long as she's there, a backslide is inevitable.
It got even worse once it was revealed that she'd lied about not trying to sell the company to WWE (reports saying otherwise surfaced at the same time) and screwed over Billy Corgan.
Eventually, when Dixie (finally) lost majority ownership of TNA and was demoted from Chairwoman to an advisory board, Anthem banned her from tapings. Why? Because the talent hated her for all the deception they went through during the last few months of 2016, including her screwing over Corgan.
