Well it's good that you speak about it. He is a man in my French translation, but in each and every scan I've read, Shiki is referred to with feminine pronouns. Do you have the original Japanese? I don't care about translations and adaptations, but I could never get my hand on the original text as the author decided.
All right. All of the Zero-Context Examples were commented out by 43110 months ago. When I posted on Ask The Tropers, the users said that commenting out a trope name alone is usually a Zero Context Example and is the mandatory thing to do as what some users pointed out. Also, just because a trope has a sentence for an example, doesn't mean that it has context. If an example doesn't explain how the work is an example of the trope without requiring the reader to gain context elsewhere, then there is insufficient context and that should be commented out also. As such, I think we should hold a discussion on this matter here on what to do next with the ZCEs.
Edited by gjjones He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.- Cute Shotaro Boy: As a child.
One, Cute Shotaro Boy has been renamed to Adorably Precocious Child. Two, this trope is highly misused and this example does not give enough detail to see if it applies; please check the definition at Adorably Precocious Child before re-adding.
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered.
What's up with the recent attempt at claiming Manga Shiki is a girl? He's guy. Seriously, I only have all twenty volumes of the official release. I've changed them all back, if anyone wants to talk about it, we'll do it here.
