Tales of Arise: Vholran, despite being somewhat of an Anti-Climax Boss compared to the other Renan Lords, gives the player a feeling of just how far they have gone since the Hopeless Boss Fight with him. He has a very sinister theme playing showing just how much of a Complete Monster he is, repeatedly tries to pelt the player with water spells and swordfighting. Half-way through the fight, you have to use Dohalim to slow him down. It manages to keep you on your toes, and it's fun.
His final rematch is essentially a victory lap. This time, you can only use the blazing sword artes... and you can do so without risk. He will even bring about his mystic arte, but since you can't lose you can just tank it like a pro as you can keep spamming those blazing sword moves without remorse. He deserves it for all he has done.
