Okay. We started on the 27th. Then comes the 28th. That's 1 day. Then the 29th. That's 2. The 30th — that's 3. The 31st is 4 days away from the 27th. That's simple math.
Yes. Yes it does. We don't start with 1 day already on the clock, do we?
No, but the 24 hours spent getting to 1d means day 27 is the first day.
I don't understand how you're not seeing that we're 4 days and 16 hours into this.
00:00 EDT July 27 (start time) - 00:00 July 28: 1 day
00:00 7/28 - 00:00 7/29: 1 day
00:00 7/29 - 00:00 7/30: 1 day
00:00 7/30 - 00:00 7/31: 1 day
00:00 7/31 - 16:21 7/31 (current time): 16 hours, 21 minutes
for a total of 4 days, 16 hours, 21 minutes. That's it. Conversation over.
The live updater said "Welcome to Day 5!" when we hit 4d0h.
It goes like this:
0d0h is the beginning of Day 1.
at 1d0h, Day 2 begins.
At 2d0h, Day 3 began.
at 3d0h, Day 4 began.
And at 4d0h, Day 5 began.
The discussion page says day 5, not 4... http://www.reddit.com/r/twitchplayspokemon/comments/2c7jqr/pok%C3%A9mon_x_day_5_xerneas_too_stronk/
And the live update page also said "Welcome to Day 5!" You can scroll back to find it; I don't think i can link to certain posts. http://www.reddit.com/live/t9cxtjfhj8w3
They are counting the first 24 hours, from day 0 to day 1, as day 1.
It may not be correct math on paper, but if you count the starting number as a number, it is. ^^;
Right. I'm not arguing with you about the Day 5 part. I'm saying that we are 16 and a half hours into day 5, or 4d16h30m (not 5d16h30m) into the run overall.
kingofkatamari, please don't readd things repeatedly. Especially something as unimportant as this.
It is 5 days because you count the day you started.
27: 1 28: 2 29: 3 30: 4 31: 5
Five days.
