"Thor playing Loki like a fiddle. First he reminds him of all the good times they've had since childhood (by telling the story to Valkyrie and Banner), then pretending to not care about Loki anymore, all the while having an adventure which is clearly like many they've had before, and then delivers an epic Kirk Summation to him before going away to save Asgard. Thor's joy when Loki arrives on Bifrost and then when he caught up with him on the big ship proves that he never really stopped caring for Loki at all. Clearly, even though he still enjoys a good fight, Thor has grown immensely in wisdom and guile. Mending a rift in the family is something even wise Odin was really bad at.

Dude, come on, if you're cutting a big chunk like this, at least leave a edit reason!

Agreed, though I also agree with it being cut. This is a Heartwarming Moment turned into an Awesome Moment via Speculative Troping. That it was all some big gambit to reconcile with Loki is a huge stretch.

Thor getting the drop on Loki with the Shock Collar definitely counts, though.

Ok agree on the first.

I don't wanna re-add the second part yet, I wrote the troper who cut it so that it doesn't turn into an edit war.

I think we can safely readd it. It was removed without an edit reason, and there's open discussion that agrees to put it back. Going to change the wording, though. It was pretty damn bare bones.

I agree that the picture doesn't really fit into the context of the movie as awesome (it's a funny moment, rather). I suggest that we take one of these pictures. Both the top and button picture also are accomplished by the Immigrant Song, so my choice would be between the two, and preferably the last picture. Or do you think it it spoiler-y in some way?
