There's an edit note you can use, you know x_x
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I feel it's a bit debatable to say that Pokémon Origins is Darker and Edgier than the original anime series in certain aspects, especially if one compares it to the early Kanto episodes.
The most notable example I find issue with is the sub-point stating that Origins acknowledges the dangers of wild Pokémon when the only example is Mewtwo, and that several other Pokémon media have already covered this topic (even the anime explored this, in the first episode no less). YMMV of course, and I am not saying to remove this trope at all, but having watched the earliest episodes of the main anime recently, I think the trope might need a bit of clean up.
Edited by 50.131.101.157I don't think this was meant as a Take That! to the Pokemon anime.

Removed because the nature of the Justifying Edit means that the Trope is not in play at all. If anything, the opposite trope is in effect:
- The Team: Red's team in the Pokémon League includes Charizard, Jolteon, Scyther, Dodrio, Lapras and Persian.
- Red constantly rotates his Pokémon team to suit his needs over the course of his journey, save for his Charizard (and to a lesser extent Jolteon).
Ketchum's corollary to Clarke's Third Law: Any sufficiently advanced tactic is indistinguishable from blind luck. Hide / Show Replies
