I disagree with parts of this analysis, with all due respect. People hate it just as much when the boy is the one doing the cheating, so long as the emotional impact the cheating has on the partner being cheated on is shown. It's not necessarily about purity so much as the heartbreaking aspect of it that's painful to read, and for some people erotic, in the way that corruption might be erotic to some people. This is why "I love Emilia" from Re:Zero is despised just as much as NTR, and why everyone gets into an uproar over My Hero Academia fics that feature Izuku with Toga instead of Uraraka.
