Bill is a side character that only sticks around for a short while, plus his sexuality is only implied/hardly referenced. Ellie is a main character and straight down kisses another girl. Something similar just happened in \'\'Series/TheWalkingDead\'\' where they showed two men kissing and people \'\'immediately\'\' started complaining. Because rotting, flesh-eating dead creatures are okay but showing two people of the same gender in love is gross, apparently.
