Lets see you try being a parent. I still think no parent is perfect and that abusive parents are only for parents who are uncaring and jerks towards their kids, which these parents are not. I swear there should be a trope for parents who mean well, but make mistakes, so this shoehorning should stop. I know it\\\'s just a movie, but I hate when well-intentioned imperfect parents are shamed by people.
